Message	Lighter, better torque curve (obviously) and it sits equally behind, if not farther behind the crossmember. Plus, parts are overly abundant, and generally much cheaper. Added to the fact that the engine can take serious abuse, and works well in boosted applications (If you needed to). i love the VG, but for a track car the LS1 wins.
